| چکیده | ||
| بحران مدرن حجیت کتاب مقدس عموماً محصول نقد بیرونی عصر روشنگری در نظر گرفته میشود. این مقاله با فرضیهای متفاوت، استدلال میکند که ریشههای این بحران در عمق تحولات درونی خودِ الهیات مسیحی نهفته است. پژوهش حاضر با بهرهگیری از روش تاریخنگاری اندیشه، سیر تطور مفهوم حجیت را از درک «کارکردی-روایی» آن در دوره آباء کلیسا تا تبدیل شدنش به دکترین «گزارهای-بیخطا» در الهیات مدرسی پروتستان واکاوی میکند. در دوره آباء، «معنای روایت» بر «صدق تاریخی» آن اولویت داشت، اما در قرون وسطی و بهویژه در الهیات مدرسی پروتستان، این رابطه معکوس شد. در واکنش به مناقشات الهیاتی و ظهور عقلگرایی، مفهوم حجیت به «بیخطایی مطلق» در تمامی جزئیات علمی و تاریخی تقلیل یافت. این مقاله با استفاده از چارچوب تحلیلی هانس فرای نشان میدهد که این گذار تاریخی، با جابجایی تمرکز از «معنا» به «ارجاع»، به پدیدهای به نام «کسوف روایت کتاب مقدس» منجر شد. این امر نه تنها کتاب مقدس را در برابر نقد مدرن آسیبپذیر ساخت، بلکه بحرانی هرمنوتیکی را دامن زد که واکنشهای متقابل لیبرالیسم و بنیادگرایی، پیامدهای مستقیم آن به شمار میروند. در نهایت، مقاله تبیین میکند که راه برونرفت از این بحران، در بازیابی فهم روایی از کتاب مقدس نهفته است. | ||

| The modern crisis of biblical authority is commonly perceived as a product of external criticism from the Enlightenment era. Proposing a different thesis, this article argues that the roots of this crisis are embedded deep within the internal developments of Christian theology itself. Utilizing a methodology of intellectual historiography, the present study traces the evolution of the concept of biblical authority from its "functional-narrative" understanding in the Patristic period to its transformation into a "propositional-inerrant" doctrine within Protestant Scholastic theology. In the Patristic era, the "meaning of the narrative" took precedence over its "historical truth." However, during the Middle Ages and particularly in Protestant Scholasticism, this relationship was inverted. In reaction to theological controversies and the rise of rationalism, the concept of authority was reduced to the "absolute inerrancy" of all scientific and historical details. Employing the analytical framework of Hans Frei, this article demonstrates that this historical shift, marked by a transition in focus from "meaning" to "reference," led to a phenomenon termed the "eclipse of the biblical narrative." This not only rendered Scripture vulnerable to modern criticism but also ignited a hermeneutical crisis, of which the counter-reactions of liberalism and fundamentalism are direct consequences. Ultimately, the article posits that the path beyond this crisis lies in recovering a narrative understanding of the Bible. | ||
