| چکیده | ||

| چکیده [English] | ||
| Jihad and the collective participation of believers hold a significant position in Islamic teachings. Following a textual and semantic examination of the principle of al-jār ka-nafs in the Constitution of Medina, this study analyzes the revelation-based model of Prophetic governance in organizing collective participation in jihad through qualitative grounded theory analysis. The findings indicate that this principle, meaning “the neighbor is like oneself,” functioned as a social principle for the equitable organization of human resources, the strengthening of solidarity, and the regulation of reciprocal interactions within the Medinan community. Drawing on authoritative Shiʿi hadith sources, including al-Kāfī and Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām, and emphasizing the authenticity of the Constitution of Medina as a written Islamic legacy, the study demonstrates that this principle was employed within the framework of Prophetic governance to organize collective participation in jihad. The revelation-based analysis identified three levels of conditions: causal conditions, including duty-oriented conduct and the necessity of believers’ participation in jihad; contextual conditions, including the social circumstances of the community and the distinction between those with legitimate excuses and those qualified to participate; and intervening conditions, including positive and negative psychological factors affecting the strengthening or weakening of participation. The findings highlight the role of justice and cooperation in organizing social participation, particularly under critical circumstances and in contexts of armed conflict. | ||
