| چکیده | ||
Religion That Cultivates Morality in the School of Fatimah: A Re-reading of the Fadak Sermon with a Focus on Moral Cultivation Mohammad Ali Mobini Introduction Drawing on the “Fadak Sermon” of Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her), this article examines one of the important characteristics of religion in the school of Fatimah: the cultivation of morality and the moral education of the human being. From this perspective, acts of worship within the Fatimid framework are not merely a set of obligations; rather, they must have an impact on the reform of the human self and behavior. Accordingly, a distinction is made between performing an act of worship and being affected by it. This article discusses “religiosity indifferent to morality,” that is, a form of religiosity in which acts of worship are performed, but their formative effects on human behavior and relationships are not pursued. The outcome of this article is the presentation of a Fatimid criterion for self-assessment of religiosity: To what extent has what we do in the name of religion influenced our morality, behavior, and sense of responsibility? Translated with the assistance of artificial intelligence. Keywords: School of Fatimah; Fadak Sermon; Moral Cultivation; Religiosity and Moral Education; Self-Assessment of Religiosity. | ||
