| چکیده | ||

| چکیده [English] | ||
| Recent developments in the international system have demonstrated that official diplomacy alone is no longer sufficient to manage the complexities of regional relations. In this context, the expansion of the virtual ecosystem and social media networks has created a new arena for narrative competition and the construction of public perception, significantly increasing the role of non-state actors in processes of regional convergence. Despite the extensive historical, cultural, and civilizational capacities shared by Iran and Pakistan, their relations continue to face perceptual gaps, divergent sectarian-security narratives, and weak social and media interactions. The main question of this study is how Track Two diplomacy, within the context of the virtual ecosystem, can contribute to the development of regional governance and convergence between Iran and Pakistan through the production and reinforcement of convergent narratives. The aim of this research is to analyze the virtual ecosystem of Iran–Pakistan relations and to design a roadmap for strengthening regional convergence through Track Two diplomacy and shared narrative-building. Employing a qualitative approach, the study uses descriptive-analytical methods, discourse analysis, and narrative analysis to examine documentary, media, and library-based data related to bilateral relations. The findings indicate that Pakistan’s virtual ecosystem has evolved from a mere communication space into a field of narrative competition and the reproduction of geopolitical identities. In this environment, influence is exercised less by official media and more by media personalities, political influencers, and digital actors. Three major discourses regarding Iran can be identified within this space: the Islamic-geopolitical convergence discourse, the sectarian-security divergence discourse, and the economic-pragmatic discourse. Iran’s most significant weakness in this arena is the absence of a localized narrative-building network. Accordingly, the proposed roadmap of the study is based on the principles of gradualism, network-centeredness, and localization, requiring the activation of intermediary elites, targeted engagement with key influencers, the production of shared cultural content, and the utilization of the common literary and artistic capacities of the two countries.
